Description
Why use lanolin for woolen nappies?
The lanolin wax in sheep's wool. Wax wraps around the fibres, protecting them and keeping them waterproof. Teby's Cradle wool nappies need to be thrown in from time to time to maintain their waterproof properties.
You can also use this special treatment on other woolen clothes that you want to improve and make softer.
How to lanolize the wool cradle
Before the first use and whenever you notice that your woolen cradle does not hold your pee well, regenerate it with lanolin. Dissolve 2 tablespoons of lanolin in a litre of warm water (about 25 degrees or warmer if necessary), dip the woolen cradle and wash gently, leave to soak for about 30 minutes, maximum one hour. Do not rinse and dry as written above. The procedure must be done with washed and dry cradles.
Follow the advice written by the lanolin manufacturer.
