Teby Pink produces made in Italy washable period pads manufactured using certified textiles, so you will always be sure of what you are wearing. They are very soft and breathable and you can find them in different models and textiles. Eco-friendly, cheap, convenient and safe; they are perfect for a Zero waste menstrual cycle!

How are Teby washable period pads manufactured?

  • Our washable period pads are made of different layers of fabric.
  • A layer of absorbent textile is in contact with your skin.
  • A contentive pouch where you can insert one or more absorbent pads depending on your flow.
  • A waterproof layer acting as a barrier.
  • An external layer made of cotton so the pad will not slip.

What are the most suitable washable period pads for you?

  • Every woman has a different flow and a personal preference for some particular textile.
  • Teby Pink washable sanitary napkins come in 4 models: panty liner, regular, night and post-partum.
  • Reusable sanitary pads made of microfleece give a dry effect.
  • Cotton made absorbent pads are 100% natural and breathable.

How do you use Teby Pink reusable period pads?

  • Before first use, wash your washable period pads.
  • Place the absorbent insert in the pouch.
  • Place the washable period pads in your panties and close the poppers underneath their gusset.
  • Change them as you would do with disposable sanitary napkins.
  • You can use them also with the menstrual cup or tampons.

How do you wash reusable sanitary pads?

  • When you change the absorbent pad, wash it quickly with cold water and soap.
  • While waiting to do the laundry, you can soak them in cold water.
  • Cold water helps you to remove possible stains.
  • Wash about every 48 hours.
  • Wash in the washing machine at 40°/50°C, hang them in the air.
  • To sanitize them you can use some percarbonate.

How many cloth period pads do you need for one menstrual cycle?

  • If you want to say good bye to traditional sanitary pads, you will need from 6 to 12 washable sanitary pads, depending on your menstrual flow.
  • If you want to mix their use with that of cloth period pads, we suggest you to buy 3-6 units.
  • If you use them with the menstrual cup, it will be enough to have 3-4 washable period pads.
  • Are you still not fully convinced? Try 1 or 2 of them during the night in the days before the menstrual cycle to feel more confident.
